With the Forces in Mesopotamia

The first film shows Indian forces in Baghdad (modern day Iraq) during and after the Battle of Ramadi, 28 - 29 September 1917.  The battle, fought in searing heat, resulted in British forces capturing the Turkish stronghold of Ramadi, forcing its garrison to surrender.

The second film includes an Indian Infantry battalion marching down 'New Street' in Baghdad, and a bridge of boats built by the Royal Engineers over the River Tigris to replace that destroyed by the Turks.
